2021 class Dates - well if Covid lockdowns stay away!

what a year 2020 has been!

in the gym, out the gym, together, on zoom, socially distanced

with all this Covid stuff its been a crazy year

so not to jinx it too much here are our provisional block dates for the first half of 2021!

all blocks are £30 for 4 weeks (unless otherwise stated)

call the gym on 01424755515 to book (gyms to reopen December 4th 2020)

Bring on 2021!!!!

2021 Pole Blocks - could be subject to change

Block 1
Jan 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th

Block 2
Feb 2md. 9th, 23rd and Mar 2nd
(no lesson on 13th Feb due to half term)

Block 3
Mar 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th

Block 4
Apr 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th

Block 5
May 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th

Block 6
June 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd

Well as the Uk has gone into another lockdown we are back teaching some Zoom virtual pole to keep us all active and in flow with pole

great too see some new home polers in the class

love staying in touch with our south polers whilst the gym is closed

cant wait to get back in person tho!

We are back at the gym - poling in the flesh!

We are BACK!

I am so happy that we are now back at the gym in person with Pole lessons

We are merrily doing extra cleaning and have reduced numbers of students to adhere with social distancing

and i am loving seeing students in person!

it was great to keep classes running whilst the gym was closed due to covid - and i want to say a massive thank you for the ladies who joined in and kept the pole momentum going!

Hello South Polers!

The gym (Helenswood Sports Centre) is reopening 25th July

So Pole Class is coming back!!

We are hoping to be back on Tuesday 4th August 830-930pm

And the provisional block dates for the rest of the year are below!

I will keep you posted as more info is passed my way from the gym

I am so super excited to be seeing you all in the flesh at last!

Virtual pole class is almost feeling normal!

Three weeks in and it’s feeling like the run of the mill way to be teaching pole
.
.
I love how we are adapting to these rather surreal and strange times
.
.
Forever grateful for my south polers!
.
.
And teaching like this means more of a workout for me... I’ve been aching the day after the day after!!! (But I actually like that!)

Covid-19 Update and ZOOM classes

3/25/2020

Due to the current government restrictions to help limit non essential contact, all lessons are currently on hold
We will be back when we can all get back to normal and things settle down

For the time being i am running online sessions on ZOOM on Tuesday evening at 815pm for 30-40 minutes
These sessions are for all South Pole AKademy students current and old students alike

So if you have ever trained with South Pole AKademy and would like to join in to keep you hand in, stay motivated, and get some physical exercise, as well as saying hi! then please contact us for the sign in details

These sessions are Free for current and old south polers alike and will cover spins, climbs, transitions, linking moves, conditioning and flexibility

If you have a pole at home please join in - i am also looking to do some sessions where a pole is not required - i will post each week if it is pole based or not

Last night we did our first pole lesson via ZOOM on line
I am super happy and blessed to have my South Polers log in to get active with me on their poles
We had smiles and laughs.... and pets trying to join in!
Lets keep South Pole going and your fitness and health up during this time of confinement

Keeping things normal and Poling!

We were there... we were poling....

South Pole AKademy classes are running as usual whilst the gym is still open
.
.
It felt great to be doing something normal tbh
.
.
It’s been a very odd and high emotion 5 days - and the vibe around is strange
.
.
But it was good to see the gym being used
.
.
I had 4 of my gorgeous students come to class tonight - each had a pole to themselves and we worked hard!
.
.
Before and after class all equipment was thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, and we all washed our hands of course (I treated them to the gorgeous @uk_arbonne Shea butter hand soap)
.
.
Awesome class - and as I say, it felt good to my soul and my heart and my mind to be out and exercising and teaching and enjoying
.
.
In this current time it is so important to be looking after ourselves physically and mentally
.
.
So all the while I am fit and healthy and the gym is open we will be there
.
.

Revised 2020 Block dates

A couple of amendments to the dates up to the summer so see below for the block dates

I will issue the dates for the rest later this year

Dates my be subject to change given the latest global COVID-19 situation

But currently the gym is still open and as such classes are running - with extra cleaning

Tuesdays
830-930pm
Helenswood Freedom Leisure

If classes are suspended due to the virus i will be doing a 30-45 min online class via facebook on a tuesday night at the usual class time so that if you have your own pole you can practice with me at home online
